I haven't had a dream in a while. Or should I say I haven't been able to recall the memory of the dream.
What was the last thing you guys dreamt about?

I have bouts when I don’t dream, too. It never feels like I slept whenever I don’t dream, but I’ve had the same experience if I happen to dream all throughout the night.
I had a strange one last night, but I don’t recall much of the details. I remember some people I knew from the church I used to attend was in it, but that’s it. The only thing I can remember is me having to cross a field without getting shot as there was a sniper holed up in what I could only describe as a castle or keep.

I have odd dreams. I honestly hate dreaming. I never feel rested, like im awake in a different universe and in another body. Im not a main character role, even inside the body im a passenger to the main person. I wake up feeling as if I have lived the experience. I can usually remember the dream for a random amount of time after I wake up. Sometimes I never forget it and sometimes I only have seconds before I forget the whole thing. My last dream, I was walking around at wrok and this woman who works with me was driving her tomoter around, but every time she tried to pick up a crate with her tomoter but the tomoter fell backwards. Someone was always there to catch her. But I was just standing there watching. I woke up laughing because it was kinda funny....I cant remember where I was going with this, I got distracted. Lol this ended up being way longer then I ment to. I hope if you enjoy dreaming that you get more dreams.

@chillbeatsnblaze You pretty much summed up my obstructive sleep apnea diagnosis. My dreams were so vivid, to the point I sometimes confused dreams with reality. I still do, sometimes. Like you said; it felt like I was punching out as one person and punching in as another. It never felt/ feels like I slept at all.

@chillbeatsnblaze Ugh. I wouldn’t want to know what it’s like to not dream. Waking up from a dream confirms I was asleep, and this satisfies my psychological need for sleep.

For a while now, I’ve been focusing on my third eye chakra, the pineal gland. Every night before sleeping, I do a meditation lying on my back where I try to “charge” myself with energy, with the intention of attempting astral projection. I don’t fall asleep during it — after a while I just think “nothing’s happening” and then I go to sleep normally.
For the past 3 nights, my dreams have been much more conscious.
In this one, I’m with some people in a rundown squat by the beach. They take something like DMT (I don’t), but at first nothing happens. Then we go onto a boat/platform on the sea, calm atmosphere, sunset, and we all start meditating together.
During the meditation, I feel like I “rise” and I find myself in a huge grey field. The others are there too, but they’re much more scared.
Around us, there are “people” — transparent, grey, exhausted, like worn out by life. They’re all walking in a circle around a blurry center, like a totem. The others think it’s death and start panicking. I don’t feel fear, more curiosity and caution.
I get closer and realize they’re actually benevolent. Some of them stop, look at me, and smile sincerely, almost like they’re happy to see me, even though they seem very tired.
But the movement continues and we get pulled into the circle. It turns into a kind of vortex, and we can’t get out. The others are terrified. I don’t feel like it’s “death,” but I understand we could get stuck in that loop.
At some point, I manage to break free and pull the others out with me.
Right after that, everything shifts: storm, darkness. We’re back on the boat, coming out of the meditation, but now it’s night and the sea is rough.
The others make it back to the beach and then to the squat to ask a kind of “guru” for advice on how to get out of the “bad trip.” One suggests taking more, another says that’s crazy and tries to calm things down.
Meanwhile, I end up washed up on the beach, almost crawling on the sand. And there I come across a kind of altar dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi: a head sculpted in the sand like a sandcastle, with candles and flowers around it. The atmosphere is calm, almost sacred, in total contrast with the storm.
Then I go back to join the others, and the dream ends.

@misters06 How exciting! 👀✨ Thanks for sharing! Do you like to observe meaning from dreams or do you just like to admire them for how they are?

@youngvagabond if you want to start remembering your dreams start keeping a journal by your bed. Every morning as you wake write anything you have. Even if it's just nonsense. Eventually you will prime your neural pathways to remember more details from the dream state.
