12/22 So many things have happened these past couple of weeks. I’m going to be taking my RBT exam soon to become certified, and I’m very happy because I passed my first assessment. I’m also finally 21, and honestly, a lot of good things have come with that. I have a new job that I absolutely love. My partner and I have been communicating a lot more, and it’s been making our relationship so much better. I’ve been driving on my own a bit, and it feels really good to know that I can do it. I struggle with confidence, so this has helped me build more of it. My partner’s cousin has been staying with us for a bit until he gets his own place, and honestly, he’s been a really good guest. He has his moments, but so does everyone. My partner also recently got a new car, and it’s really nice—it’s a white truck. I’m guessing I’ll be using our other car when I get my license, which will be really helpful since my job requires me to travel to clients from time to time. Recently, I met up with a friend I met during basic training, and we got to catch up. It felt really nice. Overall, it honestly feels like things have just been going up. Things are great, but at the same time, it feels so weird to feel this successful and happy. It’s strange actually having my own home, but I love it, and I wouldn’t trade this for anything. I love my partner, and I love what we’re creating together.
