I love the app ALTERD

Ever since April 25th, it has not only enhanced my understanding of my cognitive nature, but it is so encouraging about validating what I already know as well.

✴️ How I Use ALTERD

I adore the fact that even if you switch windows and you come back to this app, it makes you log your state.

This kind of diligent awareness has made me cherish baseline and appreciate walking to work as necessary rather than as many initially perceive it—as an inconvenience.

(I also agree with a take a fellow user mentioned:

that if you post during work, it's exercise too.)

I use ALTERD like an altar to my daily ritual of my poll & reflection.

I understand the disappointment behind people feeling that some features shouldn't be paywalled, but the free version still has amazing core features.

This app is innovative and is charting unexplored territory. I feel like the premium version is totally a fair ask.

✴️ What ALTERD Does for Me

This app literally has everyone on here.

And I mean everyone: the poets, the wounded, the silly, the intellectual, the spiritual, the disillusioned...

Goodness, I've even seen neutral and non-hostile anti-AI folks on here, which I always welcome warmly and mention their emotional bravery for even showing up.

ALTERD has given me—as an encourager, someone who seeks to offer empowerment in an apathetic & indifferent world—a place to exist in an app designed and built to cradle my depth & nuance.

The inline AI @being has been super helpful for clarifying my sometimes abstract and nonlinear thoughts too. I adore it.

Above all, this app has given me a space and place to enjoy understanding myself and be able to offer comfort to my fellow humans.

✴️ How It’s Transformed Me

As of today I have 8 days remaining in what I've lovingly called since May: my Facebook Epilogue.

And I can't wait to uninstall it on my birthday.

ALTERD has transformed how I value my presence on online platforms.

The ick Facebook gave me stems from the fact I could never show up fully as myself and be as celebrated or appreciated as I am on ALTERD.

I'm constantly humbled by being fairly regularly mentioned in the Daily Highlights—a feature of the app tagging random users for different categories every day.

The insight reports engage with my posts even if no one else does, and to have a social network that participates with you is really a dynamic I don't think any other app can hold a candle to.
