New world rule, you gotta take a test to be a parent. Not like sign up to have kids, have as many babies as you want, but if you wanna actually take care of that kid you need to earn a certificate that qualifies you as some kind of caretaker. Like a drivers license, or learning CPR, it is a prerequisite for legally housing people under 18 in your domicile. Idk, personally I don't see myself as a "dad" type and I think people have a lot of expectations on what a parent is supposed to be. I don't have kids, and I bet my opinion would change if the circumstances were different, but I can't help to imagine how people would change if they're not forced to raise another human when they can't (or god forbid, won't).

Cont. I'm sure in our modern hellscape this law would be used to harm more than help, but I'd still like to know what y'all think of this... Am I crazy

Hard to define how good of a parent someone will be for 18 years on one test
