It’s been many double digit days since my slumber has been found only from the floor. Sleep has played coy for nearly half of a calendar year, unless I gave in, to the ground, letting the floor consume me in a neatly arranged fashion of pillows & blankets. From my research, psychological studies suggest early, prolonged childhood trauma can lead to a desire and behavior of floor sleeping, despite a personal bed in their personal space. Processing and understanding my own dark places in childhood, over grueling months, has gifted me a chance to ascend closer towards my true self. I am free of the fear living in my dark places, dark memories. My return to sleeping soundly in my own bed parallels to the internal growth. I am a fighter. My spirit, my soul is pure and true. I am so proud of you, girl.

Proud of you!! Also sleeping on the floor could mean your spirit is closest to the ground and grounding is important to your spirit.
