well just just woke up right now things are getting better yesterday I was able to do what I need to do before what I wanted to do so things are trying to get better but there's one more thing I still need to lose by my needs to fix and if I fix that a lot will change for the better the thing is that I keep like making everything reach its extremes before it can push me it can trigger me to do something for example when I wake up in the morning instead of having one alarm I have one alarm at 4 a.m. at 4 30 and after 4 30 I keep putting the alarm for 5 and 5 and 5 minutes you know so I just wake up when it's already extreme when it's already like oh I need to wake up right now otherwise I will get late I need to have the discipline to wake up when I need to wake up not when I want this is for anything like sometimes paying bills some some other things like all these things I always leave it to the like last resort you know last minute and that's not good that's not good you need to do some things beforehand otherwise you're going to get fucked you know

The user identifies a recurring pattern of waiting until the 'last minute' or 'extreme' to take necessary actions, like waking up or paying bills, and expresses a genuine commitment to building better self-discipline to prevent future negative consequences.

@japahd I got adhd too man. it was weird reading what you wrote because it felt like a reflection of my own past and current struggles. dopamine deficiency is no joke man, we only act when shit is novel or urgant. The ONLY thing that’s ever worked for me (and i’ve tried more things than even the internet can come up with) is this - set one alarm. Never more than one, if you set more than one you’ll always treat them as optional wake up times and your brain will stop registering that “noise” as something to obey. Also, and this is the hardest part, I literally fail to do this to this day, is wake up at the EXACT same time EVERY DAY, regardless of what happened the night before. At least for a few weeks or months and then every once in a while you can let yourself have exceptions. Idk if this helps but it’s quite literally the ONLY thing that’s ever worked for me. Everything else i do routine wise is to assist this.

@supermoon532 thanks for reading i was driving and using the mic to record my voice so some parts got a little hard to understand but thanks for the effort to read it, its fun because I never said that i have ADHD and you got ON POINT 😂 Well you know, ADHD people knows ADHD people just by looking, and its really no joke, I'm trying very hard to make myself to do things, because I feel like my brain is like and OLD CAR you know? It takes time to make the engine go on but after that it can run flawless. ADHD is a superpower with some bad sides too we have hyperfocus and hyperactivity but we too have procrastination and lazyness, its 0 or 100% so I got very tired sometimes trying to battle that, the key is to build automatic discipline, just do it, dont think to much do what you gotta do and after I can do the things I need to do when I need to do, procrastinating or doing nothing after that feel less heavy because at least I've done what I needed to do. Thank you for the advice, I've done that before and yes it helped me wake up on time by putting only one alarm, but the alarm still have the snooze button that I tend to press very often and sometimes without even noticing I just turn of the alarm the instant that it goes off so I get late or oversleep so I'm kinda scared to put only one alarm, I've tried to put it in a far place too but, I just get up turn it off and go to bed again, plus I live with a roommate so its kinda annoying because I wake up so much earlier than him. When I am awaken I am very productive and very hyperactive but I struggle to wake up in the morning even when I slept early, so for a period I tried to sleep after I got home from work and then be awaken till morning from midnight so I couldn't get late because I was already awoken 😂 but that fucked up my sleep schedule very badly
