Gods showing me my character defects today and telling me to embrace the darkside. There is a difference between the darkness and the enemy. The darkness is not the enemy. The enemy is Anti-Creation. Maybe Satan could be on our side unless he is truly the Anti-Creator

@lilphantom93 this is deep . In my experience Satan is the ā€œAnti Creatorā€ bc the fall was triggered by God creating Man and the Jealousy he felt. My perspective could be wrong but that’s just how I perceive it

@lilphantom93 you’re not entirely wrong or off track. I Hyperfix on Bible…. Satan in Hebrew means adversary. Satan’s been really distorted overtime when you compare modern beliefs to actual doctrine. I challenge the idea of: for or against. I believe embracing the darkness, is part of the path to enlightenment. šŸ–¤ only through the darkness can we see the light. šŸ’”

@mrsaruns44 I study the Bible a lot and recently went down the rabbit hole on Satan. What surprised me is that the actual doctrine doesn’t give him much power at all. He isn’t a creator or an anti‑creator, because he never creates anything in the text. God is the one who names Himself the maker of both light and darkness. In Scripture, Satan shows up more as a psychological tempter than a cosmic force.

@lilsoutherngoth I too hold this belief, my guru Paramahansa Yogananda speaks fully embracing the light and carrying the yoke of Christ is the only true way to ultimate happiness. All in all, I believe we can integrate the shadow for alchemization but that doesn’t mean it needs to be executed in the physical. All work can be done through the spiritual eye and through embodying the light. If we want a world of good vibrations how can we be the ones to push bad into the world.

@lilsoutherngoth the power of the flesh is Satan I believe and were told to forget the flesh in search of higher being and truth

@dopealiciousfervor I don’t need a guru to tell me anything. God already gave me what I need, and He answers me in silence. Any knowledge I look for just confirms what’s already in me. I also don’t believe the flesh is evil or tied to Satan, that’s a man‑made idea, not something Jesus or God ever taught. If you can show me where either of them says to deny the flesh to reach enlightenment, I’ll look, but it’s not in Scripture.

@lilsoutherngoth I don’t believe in an evil, Satan is the necessary duality to God so we may experience this universe at all. Jesus said, some demons go out only through prayer and fasting. Demons are tied to the flesh. The flesh to me embodies picking comfort over our highest good. ā€œNah I don’t wanna go pick my nephew up from the bus stop I’m tiredā€ but your intuition is screaming at you to do it. The main point Jesus makes is ā€œI am the way the truth and the light, no one gets to the father except through meā€ this speaks to Christ consciousness being the only way to the father (enlightenment). Good day

@dopealiciousfervor I think we’re coming from different frameworks, and I’m trying to understand yours. I study Gnostic and mystical teachings, and Christ consciousness resonates with me, but the idea of demons being tied to the literal flesh isn’t something I’ve seen in doctrine. I understand energetic openness and spiritual fitness, but that’s different from the body itself being the source of anything. Can you explain how you’re defining ā€˜the flesh’ and how demons connect to it in your view? I’m genuinely trying to understand where you’re coming from.

@lilsoutherngoth Anytime we are not operating from our higher selves we lose ourselves in doubt to God

@dopealiciousfervor If ā€˜not being in the higher self’ equals doubting God, then every traumatized or spiritually uneducated person is automatically in doubt? Can you explain how that fits with your flesh + satan model?

@lilsoutherngoth Sure, so anytime we move out of fear it is doubting God because we’re not acting to our highest God capabilities of love. In Hinduism all the gods are riding on animals to show our higher selves (higher wisdom) have control over our lower selves (animal instincts). Jung said we spend the 1st half of our life gaining our ego (aka our flesh/demons because it’s separate from God union consciousness because our actions are not being acquitted through love. Ik this is a hard truth and very radical to say.) and the 2nd half of life dissolving the ego. So all in all, I was speaking of demons as a loose term cause it ultimately doesn’t matter if you have ā€˜demons’ or not because once you reach samadhi everything falls through. Demons are a tool to speak through our temptations. the demon of caffeine addiction, the demon of nicotine addiction, the demon of sex addiction. There is also temptations/demons of the ego, these are the strongest. The seven deadly sins would come to mind, the demon of pride, gluttony, lust, etc. Adiós

I recently wrote a paper that partially talked about our shadow self. I often hear it talked about in a negative way, like they are personal detriments. And while at times they may appear that way, they are really just the parts of us that we are uncomfortable with and don’t want to see and don’t want others to see. When we start to see ourselves as containing light and dark and that just being part of our humanity it’s a lot easier to handle our darker nature, imo.

I don’t believe satan exists. the figure was used to control people. To elicit fear to have them conform. Much of the bible is edited and bits of been changed and retracted. the best reference if you are exploring shadow and light is ā˜Æļø Yin yang essentially is saying there is good in the bad and bad in the good. jealousy for example. It is an emotion that either motivates you to achieve whatever your jealousy leads you to want. OR you can react negatively to that emotion and do something spiteful or vengeful with it. ā€˜Darkness’ is kind of subjective… What you consider to be ā€˜dark’ is potentially just a coin you havnt yet considered another side of. This is essentially the path of integration and later.. embodiment
