psychedelics
I would like to firstly say this was still now this was the most profound set of moments to happen in my life
That day i didnt plan on doing shrooms i planned to ride my motorbike to my mates amazing looking summer house in the countryside but i was asked about it when i got to his and i just said sure i was feeling mentally okay and seeking that sense of adventure on psychedelics i said yes.
We took one purple gell tab that was 4.5 grams of mushrooms we found out after the trip I am very aware that this was quite stupid idea and could of set up for disaster you must check your dosages and test your substances
We did test the gell tabs we were in the clear to go
I swallowed it just like pill as i was warned the taste was quite unpleasant didnt taste it at all
And so we waited for them to kick in the adrenaline style anxiety cane over me like most times taking psychodelics before they kick in but nothing i would panic over i just started to mediateand prep myself outside in the garden
After what felt like a small amount of time The shrooms took affect really hard where i almsot lost my footing. My mate asked me you alright pal?“ i stared at him and said “i just need to sit”
It felt like my body was vibrating extremely fast bur not in a nauseating way and every sense in my body was going through pipes all leading to one big pipe and going though that like a funnel into my brain it.
If you understand what really being overstimulated feels like it felt like that but times a unexplainable amount
I couldn’t talk i was observing the grass in the back garden morph around and turn ti look at the fence the wooden eye patches u see on wood formed a face of a bison or bull like face
I realised my body was feaful
Of it i knew what i needed to do so i faced it and prooved it couldn’t hurt me to make myself calm down
It felt like i had opened something and i was been forced fed energy like the blood of a unicorn from harry potter and my mind went into a semi panic mode but i previously i had a incident where i was on a Tab of some strong acid and my old friend who i do not speak to anymore forgot to clean his bong of salvia so i ended up smoking saliva while on acid was the scariest experience but thats for another story but in a nutshell i knew how to try handle
a “bad trip” i understood that i took this gell tab theres no way out of this, this is going to happen and so i just mentally tried to turn what negative emotions i was feeling into the cosy stimulent stomach butterflies i get on shrooms it worked
After what felt like 2 minutes i was able to walk again. Thing is i found out that i was out of it for 20 -30 mins but after we went on a walk and the visuals were like making stones in the formation of what a snow flake looks like was pretty amazing
These parts stood out the most
In conclusion
This was the most Terrifying but also at the same time most fun and deep experience ive ever had
It felt like a god took a shit on me metaphorically like that i should in a way care less about what i cant control
I felt like a kid who was worrying about things they cant control in a way and something like felt like they said to me to not worry about stuff and to let urself go and do what you want to express this

I struggle with OCD. One of the biggest lessons I have learned is to stop worrying about what I cannot control. This was extremely hard for me to learn because OCD is deeply rooted in trying to control yourself and your environment to prevent the worse from happening to you. When I finally learned to let go, to surrender, to admit that I could not control everything, that is when I finally felt the weight being lifted off my shoulders.

@primesun221 this is beautiful. I have a friend who struggles with OCD and I have told him about surrendering to his thoughts as well, however it sounds easier said than done, do you have any specific processes you follow in order to do it safely?

@indigosoul honestly, it’s really difficult because your thoughts feel very vivid and real. One thing I like to practice is a visualization technique. I visualize myself as a tall mountain, and I imagined my thoughts as the clouds passing by. It helps remind myself that I have a strong foundation of myself and my values. It also reminds me that I am not my own thoughts.
Art is another way I like to release any feelings I have towards any intrusive thoughts I may have. It’s important to remember to give yourself space to feel whatever emotions come up, but at the same time remind yourself that you are not your thoughts.
